Forget Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod. Forget the Really Old Guy. Forget all of the parade of babes with swords who have graced the screen over the last six years thanks to "Highlander: The Series." We are The Stan Clan. For us, there can be only one. We kept the flame alive as long as we could, watching until the very last episode of Highlander in hopes Stan Kirsch would appear on the show again -- as Richie, mysteriously back from the dead, an Evil Richie Clone, or even a different character. Alas, Richie did reappear in the final episode ... only to be killed again. Please read our Tribute to Richie and our Top Ten Reasons Why Killing Richie Sucks. The death of Richie doesn't stop us from reliving the glory days, enjoying every rerun, and wishing Stan well with his future career choices! Played by the adorable Stan Kirsch, Richie Ryan was our perfect Immortal -- young, cute and cocky. More endearing than Adrian Paul, yet just as able to ooze testosterone in a tense moment, Kirsch got our pulses racing every time he stepped off his dirt bike or squinted his eyes at The Buzz. Check out our Top Ten Reasons why Richie would make a better boyfriend than MacLeod. Do you love Richie and/or Stan as much as we do? Then check out these links to some great Stan pics and information.
